Velma was born January 21, 1930 in Richwood West Virginia. Her father’s name was Morden Naylor. He was born January 30, 1889 in Wirt County , West Virginia. He died in April 21,1939 in Richwood, WV.

Morden’s father was Joe Naylor.(center picture top row). The picture on the right is Joe Naylor ‘s children (brothers of Morden).

Velma’s mother was Minnie J. Mourey Naylor( left). She was born December 1893 in Holly District Braxton County, WV. She died May 13, 1965 in Richwood, WV. They were married in 1914 at the Methodist Church in Richwood, WV.

Minnie’s father was Cyrus C. Mourey(right). Cyrus was born August 25, 1854 in Jefferson , Pennsylvania and he died in 1953 at Persinger in Nicholas County WV.

Minnie’s Mother was Martha Hosey Mourey(left) .Martha was born in 1866 in Franklin Township in Braxton County , WV.The pictures on the right are martha and Cyrus.

The baby Martha is holding is her grandson Olen C. Naylor born 3-30-1926.

Martha’s mother was Mary Skidmore Hosey and her father was John G. Hosey . John died in 1895 in Braxton County , WV.

After Morden died, Minnie never remarried. He died at the age of 51 of Penumonia. Minnie lived to be 72 and also died of Penumonia.
