Elbon H. Cogar, b. Oct. 12, 1850, Braxton Co., died Nov. 14, 1927, Webster Co., was the s/o Jehu (John) and Caroline (Brooks) Cogar, married Rebecca Hosey, b. Sept. 15, 1858, d. Jan. 30, 1911, Webster Co. Elbon was the father of Etta Cogar Carpenter.
